DREAM & FLY... like a butterfly

Here is my creation for the ColorArte Design Team member.

Whenever I think of expressing my artistic emotions on any medium, I always desire proliferating the message that one has to think out of box, dream like he or she has never done earlier and spread our wings and let our thought fly carefree… Only then would we be able to realize our true potential and give something to the world for which we are made for…

In this creation of mine, I have merged all these feelings. Through this creation I reinforce the message of breaking our mental and physical shackles to dream and achieve something which is not possible if we keep our mind and soul restrained to the societal bondages.

Below is the step by step procedure of how I have created this artistic impression that one should always “Dream…and fly like a butterfly”.

Firstly started working on wooden plank, (in my stash from the last two years, using now finally)

 applied texture paste and crackle paste and then covered it with black gesso

  and then added some embellishments and again applied black gesso.

After applying black gesso started working with ColourArte colours-(just love them )-Silk acrylic glaze fruit punch kit -key lime, yellow rose, iridescent gold and also mixing them with primary element-empress  Mulberry antique violet and golden nugget, i just loved the antique violet shade using for the very first time. And added some glass glitter and glass beads. Here's some close-up pix...

The SPIRIT of MUSIC

Dear Friends

The world would be such a lonely place without Music and Friends. Today I am dedicating this creation of mine to all my lovely friends and to the spirit of music that binds all humanity.

This creation is made combining different media together. Mix Media is the perfect medium to express my creative best as its expanse is unfathomable. The more you enter into this exciting world of Mix Media, the more you fall in love with it.

In this creation, I have used host of techniques – paper,dusty attics colors-tones of coffee colour, trinkets, altered objects, fabrics, threads, finnabair products, silk acrylic colours, beads, flakes, finnabair butterfly stamp – well anything that I feel can fit and make the canvas and my creativity speak.

Tag of LOVE

In this month of love and spring, the month in which flowers Bloom and lovely butterflies don the skyline, a month signifying togetherness and care, I have created this mixed media tag signifying the spirit of Valentine.

Made on a canvas paper using finnabair crackle paste, Slik acrylic colours( love the texture sooo much -as i use my finger to colour), I have used trinkets, love plague, metallic chain, wire mesh, stampendous embossing powder, prima glass glitter, prima mica powder to create a unique fusion of modernity in a blue vintage color theme. And super excited to make this project for Mixed Media Warriors Design Team

A DREAM JOURNEY THROUGH 2016

Dear Friends,

I have created the cover of the Planner into a reflection of your inspirations, your dreams and your journey as you go through the days and weeks of 2016.

 The fairy wings, impressions of butterfly,butterflies embellishments , impressions of leaves amidst an array of vibrant colours, would inspire you to go through the journey of 2016 fulfilling your dreams and achievements.

This cover is created using modeling paste, flutterfly and moving leaf stencil, fairy wings and butterfly embellishments and flying butterflies made of jute. Using shimmers spray,Silk acrylic colours, mica powders, lindy's spray, glass glitter, flakes, I have tried to reflect my impressions of the year to come – lively, vivacious, exciting and dreamy. I am sure you would also create this planner using the Papercious 2016 planner, reflecting your creative impressions and motivate you to go through 2016 – alive and partying!!!!

You Make Me Smile-Mixed Media Tag

Presenting a tag that encompasses the spirit of fall.The tag used a host of colours that put a smile on your loved one face.

A Sling Bag of Memoirs.

Dear Friends,

Today I proudly present to you a unique product  which i have called "A Sling Bag of Memoirs." with mixed media technique

   

 Made in the shape of  a sling bag, the outer part of this lovely album is made using newest collection of pattern papers from Papericious. This stack of pattern papers called "The Vintage Attire" has some unique colors and designs which gave me an idea of this pretty product. Made from acid free paper the colors of this stack just blew me off. It oozed a deluge of imagination in me and this product just came flowing out.

Beside the lovely pattern paper from Papericious I have also decorated it exquisite charms like metallic sling attached with metallic fairy, metallic look corners and used encrusted jewel kit-used goldembossing powder and elements and inka gold on the charms. I have used embossing folder with inka gold and spread some gold glass glitter at the bottom panel.

Inside the bag is hidden a mini album made using The Vintage Attire stack paper decorated with Papercious embellishment set, distress ink, embossing powder and elements, Tim Holtz Ring Fasteners...

The album enough to hold 40-45 choicest photos and your notes and tags. Now carry your cherish memoirs with you with this fascinating sling bag...
