For more tips on creating with the Butterfly Dreams collection, watch the tutorial at

Instructions: Take white Cardstock card size 6"x 6" as final size (it's a top fold card). Take Butterfly Dreams pattern paper size 5.875"x5.875", distress the edges and adhere it onto the card base.

Now on the right side, take white cardstock, tear the edges and distress them. Stamp the sentiment from the lovely collection -Butterfly Kisses-"Celebrating you today", using Jet Black Archival ink. On the right side again, add square image from the paper collection, distress the edges and adhere it using foam tape.

Next for the butterfly, create three layers by stamping on the white cardstock from Fluttering Butterfly using Archival ink-Cactus Flower and mixing with Sunflower ink, and layering them using foam tape and then using Crystal Clear powder.

For small tiny flowers stamp small peony flower with Red Carnation Archival ink and cut them with matching die and color them with Sunflower Archival ink, and then add Crystal Clear powder. Arrange all these tiny flowers on the butterfly as seen on the picture.

On the torn edges, there's a layer of vellum butterfly dreams border using Versamark ink and white embossing powder. Heat it with heating tool and add a touch of pink color at the back of the vellum butterfly border using Archival ink-Cactus Flower. Shape them using Deluxe flower shaping tool kit to give a bit of dimensional look.

Now cut two Elegant Basics border die and arrange them as seen on the picture and add Crystal Clear powder on the edges of the die.

Now randomly add some crystal clear.

  1. beautiful Shalini. The colors really pop and I love the addition of the vellum!
